OUR STORY
What started as a felt factory grew over generations through craftsmanship and a close connection with the local community.
In 2016, we opened a bakery on the site of our former felt factory. Our approach to baking carries that same spirit of craftsmanship: carefully chosen ingredients, skilled hands, and attention to detail.
Since then, our bakeries in Tokyo have become local favourites.
Our story began in 1917 in Nippori, Tokyo.

In July 2025, we opened FELT Bakery in Wimbledon, London.
As the UK is also the birthplace of industrial felt, opening here feels especially meaningful to us.
At FELT Bakery, we bake each day with thoughtful care, offering much-loved Japanese favourites alongside everyday breads and pastries.
Through our bread, we hope to become part of the simple moments that bring people together and make the day feel a little warmer.
